Description

You will start this Villavicencio tour by taking the old route to Chile. During the tour you will pass by the Cerro de la Cal, where the minerals used to make Portland cement are extracted. You will pass by the Canota Monument, which symbolizes the separation of the Columns of the Army of the Andes. After this you will arrive at the Vaquerías post, the entrance area to the Villavicencio Natural Reserve. Here you will find an interpretation center that will show you the flora and fauna of the place. The Visitors Center and the Villavicencio Hotel are managed by the Villavicencio Foundation, an institution created to collaborate in the social and collaborative construction of an environmentally responsible society that has sustainability as its axis. Then you will go to the Termas de Villavicencio Hotel where you can see the beautiful gardens and the picturesque chapel of the hotel. To finish the tour you will ascend to the Caracoles Viewpoint and the valley.
