What to bring
We will meet in our meeting point in the San Francisco Church, part of the Plaza Mayor de San Francisco Complex. From that point you will start the La Paz City Tour & Cable Cars, a tour by the most important historic and tourist attractions of the administrative capital of Bolivia. You will visit the Mercado de las Brujas (Witches Market) in Linares Street, in downtown La Paz, where you can find local products for the yatiris or local walocks. Then, you will go to the Mercado Tradicional Rodríguez (Rodriguez Traditional Market), the largest in the city, where you can find different products, like food and fabrics. Then, you will go to the Plaza San Pedro, one of the oldest neighborhoods of the city of La Paz and where the famous San Pedro Jail is located.
After that, you will take the cable cars line with which you will have an absolutely different perspective of the city. You will see the typical constructions from the air and, if the weather allows it, the Illimani Mountain. You will reach El Alto, neighborhood located at 13,615 feet of altitude and that has a market that you will have time to tour. Then, you will return by cable cars to downtown La Paz and end the tour in the Apolinar Jaén Street, which still has constructions with colonial style.
